eTrimm Navigation
The eTrimm Navigation system utilizes OpenStreetMap, a global open-source map service, to provide an optimized route guidance service tailored specifically for cyclists. By receiving real-time map data from the smartphone's eTrimm app, this system employs a highly efficient processing method. While the smartphone handles heavy data computation and resource-intensive tasks, the eTrimm device focuses solely on displaying essential navigation info on its screen, maximizing both device performance and battery efficiency.
Screen Layout
- Main Screen: Displays the map, route tracking arrow, and map scale by default.
- Right Panel: Shows the directional arrow and the remaining distance to your destination.

eTrimm Light Control
A single light cable from Mahle motor links both the display and the lights.
eTrimm has fully integrated light connection and control with the eTrimm Smart Display for Mahle motor users. This simplifies complex cabling and reduces installation costs. For existing Mahle motor-based e-Bikes already equipped with lights, simply connecting a dedicated cable allows the eTrimm to be used as a dedicated Mahle motor display, offering seamless compatibility.
Comparision of [standard Mahle system] VS [Mahle System with eTrimm]
- Direct Control of Standard Lights: eTrimm features a built-in light output port, allowing you to directly connect and control standard lights using a dedicated cable. (Supports 6V–12V / Max 1A)
- Efficient Power Management: By simly connecting eTrimm to the Mahle motor's light output port, there is no need to draw additional power from the Mahle motor to run the lights, thereby reducing the load on the system.
